Senior Tech Support
Senior Tech Support is a web platform I built to help senior centers organize technology assistance from student volunteers. Instead of managing requests, events, and volunteer records separately, center staff can coordinate them in one place. Staff can create profiles for the seniors they serve, post individual support tickets, schedule group help events, and review students who request to volunteer at their center. Once approved, students can claim open tickets, RSVP to events, add notes about the help they provided, and log their volunteer hours. Dedicated dashboards give students a clear view of their assignments and upcoming events, while staff can track requests, volunteers, visits, and hours across their center. Built with Next.js, TypeScript, Payload CMS, and MongoDB, the platform uses role-based access to keep each center’s records and volunteer work organized.
