YearnToLearn AI is an AI-powered educational platform built with React, TypeScript, and modern AI technologies to help students truly understand concepts instead of simply copying answers. Users can enter any topic, and the AI generates an introduction, multiple levels of explanation for different learners, real-world examples, and AI-generated visuals to support deeper understanding. The platform is designed to make learning more intuitive, interactive, and personalized by breaking down complex ideas into clear and accessible explanations across subjects such as mathematics, science, and programming. By focusing on conceptual understanding rather than direct answer generation, YearnToLearn AI encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and meaningful learning experiences.

Perlin Flow Field V2 expands on the original flow field by introducing evolving color dynamics and periodic regeneration of the noise landscape. Thousands of particles move according to angles derived from Perlin noise, forming smooth, continuous currents across the canvas. The color palette now spans a broader spectrum, shifting gradually from deep reds through blues and into purples using HSB mapping, giving the piece a richer and more immersive visual depth. Unlike the first version, the noise seed automatically refreshes over time, allowing the entire field to subtly transform into a new motion pattern without user input. The result is a constantly evolving system where structured mathematical noise produces organic, living waves of color and motion.

Perlin Flow Field is a gradient flow field generated using Perlin noise to create smooth, continuous motion across the canvas. Fine strands follow vector directions derived from the noise field, forming layered waves of color that feel fluid and organic. The gradients shift through cool tones, giving the piece a soft, atmospheric depth. Each mouse click changes the noise seed, regenerating the entire field and producing a completely new variation of the pattern.

An interactive n-body simulation built with p5.js that transforms your cursor into a gravitational anchor in space. A swarm of particles dynamically follows the mouse, responding in real time as if pulled by an invisible force field. When the cursor moves, the bodies trail behind it like a drifting cloud. But when the mouse is held down, the system shifts: an orbital force activates, and the particles begin circling the cursor, forming swirling, planetary-like motion.

Gesture Drawing is an interactive drawing program that uses a live camera feed to track hand movements and finger gestures as input. When the index finger and thumb touch, the program interprets it as placing the pen down, allowing the user to draw by moving their hand while keeping the two fingers together. Releasing the fingers lifts the pen, enabling repositioning without leaving marks on the screen. The canvas features a minimalist black background with clean white strokes.

Cooking Buddy is a cross-platform mobile recipe application built with Expo that runs on iOS and other mobile devices. The app allows users to browse, search, and explore a curated collection of recipes with detailed ingredients, step-by-step instructions, serving information, and preparation time. Each recipe includes categorized tags such as breakfast, vegetarian, or quick, making it easy to filter meals based on preferences. With both light and dark mode support and a clean, card-based interface, Cooking Buddy focuses on simplicity, usability, and accessibility, serving as a practical digital companion for everyday cooking.

Gordon-lu.com is a private, password-protected personal website I built for a close friend as a digital space to preserve and share memories from our friend group. The site features a clean media gallery showcasing his photos and videos, along with a secure contact system where messages can be submitted and viewed only by a logged-in admin through a protected dashboard.

GCGS Middle School Student Platform was a community service project that I did in middle school. It was a centralized website that my friend and I developed to organize student media, academic resources, and school content in one accessible space. The platform archived past student newspapers, radio broadcasts, teacher and student interviews, and short films created by the students. In addition, I personally designed and built math quizzes with engaging stories tailored to different grade levels to help students prepare for upcoming tests, and I integrated full digital PDF versions of textbooks so students could easily access learning materials online. It is no longer maintained.
